More about this rule

The rule in plain language

Dallas publishes those hours from City Code Section 30-2(8) for erection, excavation, demolition, alteration, or repair work on or adjacent to residential use.

What to keep in mind

This answer covers construction noise, not every kind of neighborhood sound. Urgent public-safety or public-health needs may qualify for a written waiver, and other noise sources have separate standards.
