More about this rule
The rule in plain language
San Antonio's current guidance reflects the statewide licensing system that began July 1, 2026. It also sets operating conditions for food sources, temperature control, paved parking, restrooms, street vending, schools, and vehicle mobility.
What to keep in mind
Downtown vendors need an additional permit from Center City Development and Operations, and vendors in city parks need Parks and Recreation permission. A food vending vehicle cannot use a temporary food permit.
